Effective and last updated: August 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to renegadepictures.net and communications you send directly to Renegade through the Site. “Renegade,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Renegade, a California business based in Clovis, California, operating this Site. This Policy does not cover independent services linked from the Site, including Superhive, YouTube, or your email provider.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Contact details: name, email address, and the contents of messages you choose to send.
- Inquiry information: project type, creative or business requirements, timing, and related correspondence.
- Business records: proposals, agreements, support history, licensing discussions, and transaction records if you become a customer.
The Site’s contact form currently prepares a message in your own email application. The form entries remain on your device until you choose to send the email. Once sent, the message is processed by your email provider and Renegade’s Google Workspace email service.
Information collected automatically
Like most hosted websites, our hosting and security providers may automatically process IP address, browser and device type, operating system, requested page, referring URL, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP, error information, and security or access logs. This information is used to deliver the Site, maintain reliability, prevent abuse, and diagnose problems.
Information we do not currently collect through the Site
Renegade does not currently operate Site accounts, direct checkout, paid film playback, advertising pixels, or third-party audience analytics on this Site. The Site does not currently collect payment-card information. Blender add-on purchases take place on Superhive under Superhive’s policies. Before Renegade enables direct film rentals, accounts, payment processing, or protected playback, this Policy will be updated to describe the providers and information involved.
2. How we use information
We use information as reasonably necessary to:
- respond to inquiries, support requests, licensing questions, and project proposals;
- evaluate and perform requested creative, film, software, or marketing services;
- operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site;
- protect Renegade, visitors, customers, and intellectual property from fraud, abuse, or security threats;
- maintain business, tax, accounting, legal, and contractual records;
- enforce agreements and resolve disputes; and
- comply with law and valid legal process.
We will not use an inquiry to add you to recurring promotional email unless you separately request or consent to those messages. Transactional or relationship messages may still be sent when needed to respond to you or provide a service.
3. How we disclose information
We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary to:
- Service providers: website hosting, security, email, cloud storage, professional advisers, and contractors working for Renegade under appropriate obligations.
- Business counterparties: clients, licensors, production partners, or vendors when needed for a requested project and consistent with applicable agreements.
- Legal and safety purposes: comply with law, court orders, or valid requests; protect rights, safety, and security; investigate fraud or abuse; or establish and defend legal claims.
- Business transfers: evaluate or complete a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of all or part of Renegade’s business or assets.
- With your direction: when you ask or authorize us to share information.
Renegade does not sell personal information for money and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use personal information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects through automated processing.
4. Third-party links and media
When you follow a link to Superhive, YouTube, or another independent service, that service may receive your IP address, device information, and information about your interaction under its own privacy policy. Renegade does not control those services. Review their policies before providing personal information or making a purchase.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site and its hosting provider may use cookies or similar storage that are necessary for security, access control, load balancing, fraud prevention, and core operation. Renegade does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies. See the Cookie Policy for the current summary.
Where applicable law requires recognition of an opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, we will honor it for covered processing. Because Renegade does not currently sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, no separate sale-or-sharing opt-out is necessary at this time.
6. Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including the duration of an inquiry or business relationship and any additional period needed for legal, accounting, tax, security, backup, warranty, or dispute-resolution obligations. Retention depends on the type and sensitivity of the information, the relationship, and applicable requirements. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to lawful exceptions and routine backup cycles.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Do not send passwords, payment-card numbers, government identifiers, health information, or other highly sensitive data through the general inquiry email.
8. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live and subject to exceptions, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of personal information; to know categories of collection, sources, purposes, and disclosures; to opt out of certain sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling; to limit certain uses of sensitive information; and to appeal a denied request. You may also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising a privacy right.
Submit a request to hello@renegadepictures.net. Describe the right you wish to exercise and the relevant interaction with Renegade. We may need to verify your identity and authority before responding. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and direct identity confirmation. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
9. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where required.
10. International visitors
Renegade operates in the United States. If you access the Site from another country, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we will use an appropriate legal basis and safeguards for cross-border processing.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the Site, our practices, or legal requirements. The revised version will be posted here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required.
12. Contact
Privacy questions and requests may be sent to hello@renegadepictures.net.
